Feed Be Fed
04:13

I stand over you reading your worth
I'm suddenly mothering death in unfamiliar terms
You demand the room
A clear path through
While I sit on handshakes for you
Power shows itself silently breathing
Feed be fed be hungry
I waste no time with reflection
I gather the years gone by
Breathing your air
Talking your tongues
But age is on my side
Power shows itself silently breathing
Feed be fed be hungry
I mourned myself and grieved hope
Power shows itself silently breathing
Feed be fed be hungry

I'm glad that everyone can make it over for my special day, will someone come and hold the house down and stop it blowing away, is it autumn already? ah thats scary, will someone come and hold the house down and stop it blowing away, please don't worry about bricks and mortar they're just bricks and mortar but damn will someone come round and hold the house down I think it's blowing away.
You pass through, so thankful
Happy birthday, what's your worth today
You pass through, so grateful
Happy birthday, what a lovely day
How far can you jump
I drew a picture of myself, then tossed it away
A friend took a photo of me, it shared no resemblance to my face
I feel like a small ship and I am carrying you all in my hull
I tried on an old shirt but the sleeves don't finish where my hands start
Well, things are changing too quickly, thats all
You pass through, so thankful
Happy birthday, what's your worth today
You pass through, so grateful
Happy birthday, what a lovely day
How far can you jump
You pass through, so thankful
Happy birthday, what's your worth today
You pass through, so grateful
So far can you jump
How far can you jump
You pass through so thankful, Happy birthday whats your worth today
Things are changing too quickly, thats all
You pass through so grateful, Happy birthday what a lovely day
Things are changing too quickly, thats all

Swedish Water
04:28
|
|||
I am not a godly man, not a person of exemplary, conduct of virtue, but you are aren't you
Just look in those eyes you've a thousand lives before mine
I can draw you from memory, I can write this shit when I'm feeling so heavy, bon Anniversare to me again, another year at the desk I'm not sure how many I've got left
The Swedish water moved just like you you'd understand if you'd seen it too
How the Swedish water moved just like you
How the Swedish water moved just like you, you'd understand if you'd seen it too
How the Swedish water moved just like you
What's the point when there's no power in touch, everything you say is just, just not good enough, there's no lesson to be learnt here just don't treat me like an old friend when you return here, just lie on my chest again, speak softly in my ear, where ever you find your feet to be I will love you there.
The Swedish water moved just like you you'd understand if you'd seen it too
How the Swedish water moved just like you
How the Swedish water moved just like you, you'd understand if you'd seen it too
How the Swedish water moved just like you

Don't Exit
02:32
|
|||
Don't Exit, don't exit
Drive yourself and I'll meet you there
It's burning in your throat
Dont lose your focus
Still pumping blood and its not giving up
Dont exit, dont exit
I latch with sentiment
That your body held you up
And I remember it all while you sit there patched up
Still pumping blood and its not giving up
Don't exit don't exit

Deep Fat
02:50
|
|||
Yeah its pretty nice, the furniture's all new wrapped up in plastic and the people here last, they must have smoked there's cigarette burns in the front room carpet, the house is facing the wrong damn way, i can't get any sun in the garden past 2 or 3 and the neighbours seem alright but the walls are so thin I can almost hear everything they say
He seems nice, hasn't said a word than being polite
Haven't seen a girl or a wife no friends passing through but he's alright he's just fine
Words fall into deep fat
In the local town there's not much to dig well you got middle aged women doing the singing circuits in the bars in the evenings, to dirty old men who work all day
I'm gonna go out and buy me a 1993 ford station wagon to set the tone for this depressing town, don't you ever eat around here ma they just talk about you when you put spoon to jaw.
He seems nice, hasn't said a word than being polite
Haven't seen a girl or a wife no friends passing through but he's alright he's just fine
Words fall into deep fat
Still listening, still living finding it cold down the middle
Leaving, leasing, plain lands, guilt plants harvest a hard time words end in the deep fat in the deep fat words end in the deep fat

Only You
03:42
|
|||
Offer, offer me something, something I can't refuse, refuse you I'd never, never do I'd never, turn my back on you, you
Because its only you
That feels my shade
And knows what to do to throw it away
Because its only you that fills my days with love
Offer, offer me something, something I can't refuse, refuse you I'd never, never do I'd never, turn my back on you, you
Because its only you
That feels my shade
And knows what to do to throw it away
Because its only you that fills my days with love
All the time, we're listening to realise all the problems that we make in our own heads and all the pictures you framed for me they just gather dust and get right in the way of feeling sane
But Offer, offer me something, something I can't refuse, refuse you I'd never, never do I'd never, I would never
Bail on you, bail on you this i wouldn't do, bail on you, bail on you
